LOBAMBA – An amount of E12 300 was raised today during the National Easter Services in Lobamba.
This money came from offerings that were given by the thousands of brethren who had gone to commemorate the Easter services with Her Majesty the Indlovukazi at the premises of the Lobamba National Church.
The brethren had come from all the corners of the country to be part of the Easter services. The amount of money was announced by League of African Churches President Bishop Samson Hlatjwako. Hlatjwako also thanked Her Majesty the Indlovukazi for being able to be part of the gathering.
He pleaded in front of Her Majesty that people should turn to God, if they wanted their problems to be solved. He said relying on their own understanding would not help in any way. Hlatjwako said people in the world relied on other countries to solve their problems.
According to the President, that was not a good thing because it had been proven now and again that those solutions were short-lived. He said the real solution was with God. He did not say people should not make means of solving problems on their own.
Instead, they should supplement their efforts with solutions coming from God. He said people could look up to God and get the necessary help, even if they were in Eswatini. They would not need to go to other countries for help.
