EZULWINI– “We are still open to any Emaswati who venture into communication and marketing”.
These were the words of the Elections Project Advisor Richard Phungwayo when speaking at the elections and boundaries campaign logo and slogan launch. The launch happened today at the Sibane Sami Hotel at eZulwini.
Phungwayo revealed that as part of the 2023 elections campaign, the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) intends that civic education on elections reach all Emaswati, through all available channels of communication. He reiterated that the elections are a five year project, citing that the EBC has also had to adjust it’s operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is important that everyone sees elections as a five year event,” said Phungwayo. He reiterated that this is why the EBC is still very much open to entities that operate in communication and marketing to help the EBC in this mission.
Phungwayo also revealed that the EBC intends to be rounding off civic education by April.
