MBABANE – Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) and MOTRACO have come to the rescue of residents of KaNdeva (Luhhumaneni) Chiefdom.
The two companies have constructed a consumer science laboratory worth E800 000 for Luhhumaneni Primary School. This project is part of the corporate social investment (CSI) programme for EEC. The electricity company also posted this project on its social media projects such as Facebook and X.
According to information sourced from EEC’s Facebook page, the completed structure was presented to the area authorities, school authorities and parents last Friday in a ceremony attended by the area’s community leaders.
Luhhumaneni Primary School is situated in the Hhohho region under Ndeva chiefdom. The school has an enrollment of 150 students.
EEC’s General Manager: Customer Services James Mabundza, who was representing the Managing Director Ernest Mkhonta, stated that the laboratory was one of the ways in which EEC was contributing back to the society in which the company conducts its business.
