MBABANE – Eswatini Electricity Company has promised to help all 700 Ngculwini clients before the end of this Friday.

EEC Corporate Communications Officer, khaya Mavuso said they had over 1000 clients all over Eswatini that their electricity line was affected by the hail storm and 700 of those clients were from Ngculwini. He said they will focus all their teams on Ngculwini.

“We have 28 teams at this moment and all those teams are assigned to go Ngculwini and we believe they would have reached every client before the end of the day,” he said.

Mavuso mentioned that there would be cases where they would assume they are done fixing electricity lines at certain places only to find out later that some clients do not have electricity, he encouraged them to report such cases.

“I would like to encourage that if anyone realises that their neighbour has electricity and they do not, call EEC immediately before the team is assigned to another task which then will delay the whole process. This is because we have had so many faults after the hail storm,” said Mavuso.
