MBABANE – People of the Lubombo Region will enjoy the festive season as Elawini Lodge based at Malindza has officially opened its doors for emaSwati.
The newly-built establishment made its debut appearance in the tourism industry just yesterday, fully fledged with a pool area, bar and restaurant.
When interviewed, Elawini Lodge Manager, Sipho Ndzimandze said they were really excited about opening their doors as they had already received positive responses and appreciation from emaSwati.
“We are still doing touch-ups on the rooms and conference rooms which will also be ready on the first week of December. However, the restaurant, pool areas and bar is operational. We have had guests and we have received a lot of positive responses from emaSwati,” said Ndzimandze.
Ndzimandze further mentioned that they were open those looking for booking festive luncheons, birthdays or showers and all events during the festive season.
“We launched at the right time when a lot of people need to go out and explore a different space with peaceful scenery.
“I believe the lodge will boost the tourism in the area of Malindza and hopefully as more people learn about the place, more people will be able to promote or sell their art to visitors coming to the area,” said Ndzimandze.
