ELITE LEAGUE LONGEST SERVING PRO FRANK HURUBE TO BOW OUT

HLUTI – The longest serving Royal Leopard Public Relations Officer (PRO) Frank Hurube’s days with the team are numbered.

Hurube, who had been in the game for the past 22 years, disclosed this during the Nsingizini Hotspurs End of the Season Awards held on Sunday (May 26, 2024). He said he was now sharing his experience with the up coming PROs, including Nsingizini Hotspurs’ PRO Mnotfo Dlamini, as he was set to bow out of football in time.

“I believe I have played my part as I have served for over 22 years and it has been a long journey. It is time to call it quits. I am happy that I have the opportunity to share my experience with the others before I quit,” Hurube said.

Hurube was already Royal Leopard PRO during the times of former Manzini Wanderers PRO Vuyile Dlamini, Mbabane Highlanders Dumisa ‘Du’ Sibandze, Young Buffaloes Sandile Gwebu and Mbabane Swallows late Sibusiso Manana, among others.

He had won numerous number of being the best PRO in both the MTN Premier League and knockouts tournament including the Eswatini Bank and the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup.

Meanwhile, Nsingizini Hotspurs President Derrick Shiba honoured their PRO Mnotfo Dlamini for the wonderful job he had done in promoting the teams. He said the club was now known in and outside the country thanks to some of the work done by Dlamini.
