MBABANE- In five months time, a selection of adventure-seeking women will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Eswatini as part of the ‘Her on a Hill’ Hiking Holiday to Eswatini by Sense Earth.
This was announced by Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Linda Nxumalo.
She mentioned that with a limited group size of between seven and 12 participants, there are currently a few spaces left on their tour taking place between 31 August and 13 September 2023.
“Walk within the reserves, learning to track animals, and truly immerse yourself into the African bush where your senses come alive,”
“Eswatini is bound tightly with its culture and there will be opportunities to see traditional dancing and to hear beautifully harmonised singing. In the communities you will be welcomed into their homes and their hearts,” she said.
Sense Earth guides are all fully trained professionals, and time is taken to match their experts to each group trip.
Jenny, founder of Sense Earth is guiding this women’s walking safari. Nxumalo urged people to make sure they take the time to get to know her as she has a wealth of knowledge to impart.
“Jenny will advise you on timings throughout the holiday to ensure that you get the maximum out of your time in this incredible country. She will also let you know about meals, safaris and any other activities as well as take time to show you the country she loves. Immerse yourself into your holiday whilst being expertly guided,” said Nxumalo.
The ‘Her on Hill’ will include a walk amongst the wildlife, a hike in the hills in Eswatini, a community visit to meet locals, Lion safari, amazing birding, and a search for black rhinos. The itinerary includes places like Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Mkhaya Game Reserve and Hlane Royal National Park among others.
