The cake is meant to celebrate the birthdays of Emaswati, who share a birthday (July 22)) with the late King Sobhuza, according to Philani Mswati Charity Organisation Chairperson Lutfo Dlamini.

The eighth edition of the Embiveni Biggest Braai will be held on July 20, 2024, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. It will kick off from 6am and last until 6am the next day.

While briefing the media, Dlamini said, “We would like to thank Village Baker for the sponsorship. We would like to inform Emaswati that the Embiveni Biggest Braai concept is to help elders who can’t come forward to thank them. They face a lot of challenges that need funding to help them.”

He went on and thanked the media for their role and other sponsors who have come on board to be part of this year’s edition. Dlamini also revealed that this year will be bigger, more surprises are still in stock, and Emaswati should attend the Embiveni Biggest Braai.

The eighth edition will see car spinning, music, and the introduction of a local traditional buffet known as Esangweni. The partnership with Embiveni Meats has come in handy, as they will have a seven-star area (VVIP) where people can sit after they have roasted their meat and enjoy the special experience.

Tickets to the show cost E100.
