MATSAPHA – Embiveni Meats Market has partnered with Philani Maswati Charity Organisation for the Embiveni Biggest Braai 2024 8th Edition.
The year’s biggest braai will be held on July 20, 2024, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
The partnership was signed at the Matsapha branch this morning. This was confirmed by Philani Mswati Charity Organisation Chairperson Lutfo Dlamini. When reached for comment, Dlamini shared with the publication that they would like to extend their gratitude to Embiveni Meats for becoming their title sponsor of the eighth edition of the Biggest Braai. He said, “We would like to thank Embiveni Meats on behalf of Indlovukazi for becoming the title sponsors of the Upcoming event. They will supply us with meat from morning until evening. We appreciate the attitude of the establishment, as they have blended with EmaSwati and are proving A grade meat.”
Dlamini shared that Embiveni Meats will supply them with all sorts of meats, including pork, chicken, beef, and beef. He also shared that the event is very important to the charity organisation’s calendar as it generates 60 per cent of their revenue.
When asked when they will unveil the artist line-up for this year’s edition, Dlamini said, now that they have secured their main sponsor, they will soon release the artists. According to the chairperson, this year will be better than last year, and he assured EmaSwati that it will be something out of the ordinary. “We are looking at artists from Botswana and Mozambique. There will also be car spinning and music. This year we will introduce a local traditional buffet known as Esangweni. With the partnership with Embiveni Meats, we will also have seven star area (VVIP) where people can seat after they have roasted their meat and enjoy the special experience.
Dlamini also appealed to the local pastor to support the biggest cause by purchasing tickets. Last month, the chairperson extended an invitation to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Offices (DPMO) in Mbabane. This was during the courtesy visit paid by the executive members of the charity organisation. During this visit, the Thulisile Dladla DPM paid tribute to the Philani Maswati Charity Organisation for its unwavering commitment to serving the elderly, despite the many challenges the organisation faces. She praised the organisation for its efforts to improve the lives of the elderly. The DPM stated that the organisation, which was under the patronage of Her Majesty Indlovukazi, had demonstrated great dedication to its mission despite the challenges it faced. The visit provided an opportunity for Philani Maswati to discuss its work and challenges with the DPM.The DPM commended Philani Maswati for its perseverance and commitment to its mission, despite financial difficulties.
