MBABANE– Today, the President of EMI Gate Holdings HRH Fatima Alkaabi from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visited the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) offices.

The President came with a delegation to announce the new projects which EMI Gate will be embarking on in Eswatini.

In her speech, Her Royal Highness Fatima Alkaabi said that EMI Gates had fallen in love with Eswatini which has also become a second home to them.

“We as EMI Gates, have fallen in love with our second home, and with our dedication, willingness, and ability together with His Majesty’s support nothing will stop us from reaching our goals,” she said.

Alkaabi further mentioned the new developments that they would be embarking on in Eswatini as a gift for the nation.

“The first project is a school which will be from Grades 1 to 12 for 1 500 students. The second project is a hospital that will have 10 ambulances stationed in the different regions of Eswatini. EMI Gate will also set up a foundation for the Eswatini Nation,” she said.

The President further mentioned that EMI Gate Holdings was committed to ensuring job security for emaSwati.

“We are committed to provide 2 500 job opportunities for the Eswatini nation to work for various entities and we will start accepting applicants as of next month. We would like to thank His Majesty for his generosity, love, and passion to provide better life quality for his nation,” said the President. HRH Fatima Alkaabi was introduced by the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Trade Manqoba Khumalo. The PS in The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade Siboniso Nkambule was also in attendance. Also present were Dr. Khanyisile Dlamini – Senior Executive Manager at EIPA, Hanalora Strydom – Chief Financial Officer at EIPA and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini to the UAE, Sifiso Mlandvo Dlamini.
