NKHABA – The community of Enhlitiyweni at Nkhaba has expressed a great appreciation for the newly constructed Enhlitiyweni Secondary School. The community finally had an official handover of the school from the financiers, Japan.

This is one fourth school built by Japan in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Speaking on behalf of the community, Nkhaba project treasurer Frederick Mnisi said, “Parents are very happy with the construction of this beautiful school. As we know, parents from Maphalaleni, Nkhaba, and Eluvnjelweni would put their children in public transport so that they can get to Mhlatane High School, Eluvinjelweni or at Nkhaba.”

Students from Eluvinjelweni, Maphalaleni, as well as Nkhaba will be spared about 10KM of traveling to the nearest schools now that Enhlitiyweni Secondary School has been completed.

Mnisi added that “A student who has studied at Enhlitiyweni has a better experience than students from other schools. For example, our neighboring schools here at Nkhaba don’t have such things as home economics, agriculture pens for growing animals as well as gardens for growing crops, all things which our students are able to do”.

Mnisi appreciated that these extra amenities for subjects make it easier for graduates from the school to venture into enterprise in those fields due to the practical experience they gain from the school
