MBABANE – The Epic Gig invites all basketball fanatics to show off their skills in the Epic Gig 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament that is scheduled for Saturday (June 22, 2024) at Mbabane Coronation Park.
The Epic Gig’s Communication Officer Loyce Kayitare said the tournament marks the end of their activations that were a build up to the main event Epic Gig on June 28 and 29 at Malkerns Country Club.
“The main objective of this tournament is for the youth to have fun while exercising as well. This tournament is a grand closing finale for the whole activations we have had towards the main event,” she stated.
The tournament is expected to run from 11am to 4pm, where teams will showcase their skills in the grand closing finale tournament, in exchange for coveted prizes. The top team of the tournament will walk away with four Epic Gig Full Fest tickets and merchandise, while the second-place finishers will be awarded Epic Gig merchandise.
The third-place team is not left out either, as they can feast on victory bites with four KFC food vouchers.
Teams can comprise a maximum of four players, infusing the event with strategic game play and intense matchups. To get in on the action, teams are required to register, with a fee of E300 per team. Registration can be completed before or at the event, ensuring both planned and spontaneous participation.
