MBABANE – Eswatini Television, a beacon of procurement excellence!
Last Thursday, Eswatini Television Authority staff (ESTVA) participated in a three-day public procurement training.
The training was held at the Thokoza Conference Centre. Training is part of the cause of individual development and fluid service delivery as well as operation. The training highlights the ESTVA’s commitment to operational excellence.
When reached for comment, Senior Marketing Communications and Brand Officer Nomcebo Malinga said: “The primary objective of this training was to discuss the legal and regulatory procurement procedures in Eswatini. This initiative is a testament to ESTVA’s dedication to adhering to the highest standards of transparency and efficiency in its operations.”
According to Malinga, the training was attended by the ESTVA’s CEO, Mlamuli Dlamini, the entire management team, and staff members from the procurement and finance departments. “Their presence not only highlighted the importance that ESTVA places on understanding and implementing effective procurement procedures but also its commitment to continuous learning and development,” Malinga said.
Malinga shared with this publication that the training was expected to have far-reaching implications for ESTVA’s procurement processes, potentially leading to more efficient operations, better financial management, and ultimately, enhanced service delivery for the people of Eswatini.
Malinga concluded by sharing that ESTVA’s participation in the training reflects the organisation’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and service to the nation. As ESTVA continues to illuminate homes across Eswatini with its broadcasts, it also shines as a beacon of procurement excellence in the public sector.
