MBABANE- The Examination Council of Eswatini (ECESWA) has announced that there will be an increase in this year’s examination fees.
The announcement was made by the ECESWA today, advising examination centres, candidates and valued stakeholders of the new fees for this year. This will see the Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) and Junior Certificate pay a 10 per cent increase in the exam fee, while the Eswatini General Certificate Secondary Education (EGCSE) and EPCSE have increased the exam fee by 5 per cent.
The EPC entry fee will cost one E60 per candidate. The subject fee will cost E100 per subject, while the JC entry fee will cost E100 per candidate. The subject fee will cost a candidate E136.00 per subject.
The rest of the new 2024 exam fees are as follows;
ESWATINI PRIMARY CERTIFICATE (EPC)
– Entry fee: E60.00 per candidate
– Subject fee: E100.00 per subject
JUNIOR CERTIFICATE (JC)
– Entry fee: E100.00 per candidate
– Subject fee: E136.00 per subject
EGCSE/EPCSE
– Entry fee: E210.00 per candidate
– Subject fee: E445.00 per subject
IGCSE
– Entry fee: E210.00 per candidate
– Subject fee: E1, 295.00 per subject
A/ASLEVEL
– Entry fee: E320.00 per candidate
– Subject fee: E2,150.00 per subject
– Subsidiary fee: E1,460.00 per subject
