MBABANE-Today, Eswatini participated in the 2023 Giftionery and Culture Creative Show at the World Trade Centre in Taipei.
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) sponsored 11 traders from Eswatini and also catered for the booth where they were able to showcase a variety of the finest products within Eswatini which included recycled material, beadwork, painting and artwork, glassware, wooden crafts just to name a few.
Ntokozo Shongwe-Tsabedze who spoke on behalf of the Kingdom of Eswatini said Ambassador Promise Msibi and exhibitors in Taiwan expressed heartfelt gratitude to TAITRA for sponsoring their participation in the 2023 Giftionery and Culture Creative Show.
“We are thankful for the warm welcome and hospitality that we continually receive from the people of Taiwan. The Giftionery Show has not only been a business opportunity for us but also a cultural exchange.
“For several years now the Kingdom of Eswatini has been a proud participant in this prestigious event through the generous support, tireless efforts, and commitment of TAITRA to promote international trade and cultural exchange,” said Tsabedze.
Tsabedze further thanked Taiwan for the support they extend to the development of local industries in Eswatini.
“We extend our sincere thanks to TAITRA, the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and Trade Associations for the support extended to the Kingdom of Eswatini for the growth and development of our local industries. This has undoubtedly enhanced trade volumes between the two countries,” said Tsabedze.
