The Eswatini Farmers Market held at Malkerns Country Club, the first edition was outstandingly successful. Tickets were sold out and tags for the event ran out and the arena was at full capacity.
The VIP section was elegantly adorned and the who’s who of the local music Industry and sports giants were spotted mingling and having a good time. The food stall owners had their hands full attending to long queues, and the food stalls proved to be the most popular on the day.
The majority of the performances were by local acts including BHOLOJA, MBO, !SOOKS, TREND TWINS, CELUMUSA who all gave stellar performances. Other acts at the event were SUN EL MUSICIAN, MSAKI, MTHUNZI and KARYEN-DASOUL hailing from South Africa.
Eswatini Farmers Market brought out Emaswati in their numbers. People were seen to be clearly enjoying the post Covid and Lockdown independence and it would seem we are finally back to ‘the old normal’.
