MBABANE– Eswatini has been highlighted by Go Teach Africa as the first country under the organisation to have finalised its 2023 planning and has already started on implementation.
Go to Africa is a charity organisation and includes all African Countries where Go Teach is a social program.
The first activity which is a Self-Development Workshop is planned to take place on March 18 to March 20, 2023, and aims to address the personal maturity of the youth at SOS Children’s Village.
According to Go Teach SOS Ambassador Nompumelelo Masuku, the two have already prepared a presentation together and it looked very exciting.
“The first activity will be a Self-Development Workshop that aims to address the Personal Maturity of youth from SOS.
“It will be co-facilitated by Mr. Bliss Sibiya who is the Leader of X Factor ( X Factor is a Management, Consulting and Training Firm) who has kindly volunteered his participation as well as Thembi Makhubu who is an Assistant Accountant from DHL Eswatini,” said Masuku.
Masuku further explained that the reason why they chose to start with this activity was that it touched on identity.
“During past assessments, we noticed a gap that most of the youth had troubles with self- development and they asked that this should be a part of the program. Self-development touches on identity and self-discovery which we believe will help this group to maximize the opportunities that the rest of the Go Teach 2023 Plan has in store for them,” she said. Nomphumelelo further mentioned that they were excited to see how the year unfolds for Eswatini youth and the impact this will have on the 21 young people who will go through a year full of exciting, enhancing and empowering Go Teach Activities.
