ESWATINI LISTED AMONG TOP TEN COUNTRIES MAMPINTSHA LAST PERFORMED AT

MBABANE– Eswatini Riders Ranch has been listed in the top 10 countries musician Mampintsha last performed at.

This is according to Zalebs magazine’s latest articles on the Gcom musician. This comes shortly atfer the singer was announced dead by family members on December 24,2022.

“ Eswatini Riders Ranch was one the places Shimora performed at, this was ealier this year on July 3, 2022,” read part of the article.

Indeed Mampintsha was in the country on the said date, he was performing alongside his South African music colleagues like Makhadzi and Master KG among others.

Shimora gave a stellar performance in the country where he performed his never heard before songs. The other countries mentioned were South Africa, United Kingdom, Lesotho and Jamaica among others.

When interviewed at the time Mampintsha expressed that Eswatini was home because his wife, Bongekile Babes Wodumo Simelane was partially Swati.

“ Eswatini will always be home for me, I love performing in this country because the crowd is always warm,” said Mampintsha at the time.

The passing of a loved one is not easy, especially a person such as musician and record label owner Mandla Mampintsha Maphumulo, his family said.

“He was loved by his family and the nation,” said family spokesperson Zanele Maphumulo during a joint family briefing between the Simelane and Maphumulo families on Monday.

Popular musician and businessman Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo died on Christmas Eve at the age of 40, just days after his record label announced that he had suffered a stroke and was in hospital recovering.

The Simelane and Maphumulo family briefed the media on his untimely passing and addressed multiple issues, including the comments regarding the star and his wife, Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane.

Family spokesperson Zanele Maphumulo said: “With regards to Babes, as I have said before, when you lose your loved one, it is not easy. For the past two days she was not okay but we are a family that believes in God, we pray for everything and the prayers of both families, the Simelane’s and the Maphumulo’s, have helped and sustained her.

For one who has been in the industry for over a decade, Mampintsha has got a decent number of songs. In fact, an aggregate of the numbers he has released since he appeared on the music scene in South Africa will make an interesting playlist.

From his days as a member of the Durban kwaito band Big Nuz to his days as a solo artiste, Mampintsh has amassed an impressive following with his songs, leaving no one in doubt of his musical energy and dedication.
