MBABANE – Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Bulunga has today officially bid farewell to the Senior Netball National Team ahead of their participation at the Netball World Cup Qualifiers in Pretoria. According to an official statement from Government, Eswatini has spent about E120 000 in supporting the Team’s participation at the Qualifiers.
Speaking during the farewell, Minister Bulunga emphasised that, “His Majesty’s Government remains committed to helping you, as sports people, grow and reach your full potential thus we are pleased to announce that Government, through our Ministry, has provided about E120 000 to support you, as a Team, take part at these crucial qualifiers.”
Minister Bulunga added that, “Even though the challenge ahead is a difficult one, I am confident in your capabilities to do well and make history by qualifying for the World Cup. Such an achievement would be an icing on the cake in a year that, so far, has been very promising for sport in our beautiful Kingdom.”
