MBABANE – Eswatini Post and Telecommunications has launched the Small Package Delivery Service on Monday, designed to allow customers to seamlessly send and receive small packets between various post offices.

According to Eswatini TV, the official launch took place at Eswatini College of Technology with a mission to create efficient communication between businesses and their customers. Eswatini Post and Telecommunications ensures fast deliveries, promising to transport small parcels within 24 hours, regardless of the location, be it urban areas or remote regions within the country.
Thulani Fakudze, a representative from the Eswatini Communications Commission spoke on the significance of postal services. He stated, “Today, more than 5 million dedicated postal employees globally are entrusted with the delivery of a wide range of essential services and personal items, including messages, gifts, goods, money, and medicines.” Fakudze spoke on the industry’s commitment to safety and security, emphasizing the training programs for delivery drivers and strict measures to preserve the integrity of the goods transported by preventing the transportation of prohibited and dangerous goods.
Customers using the Small Package Delivery Service can expect SMS notifications upon successful delivery.
This new service represents a significant step forward in Eswatini’s postal and communication sector, showcasing a commitment to modernizing services, enhancing customer satisfaction, and promoting accessibility for all residents.
