Just like America’s Jay-Z and Beyoncé and South Africa’s Connie Ferguson and late partner Shona, couples can support and inspire each other to grow to greater heights over years.
Eswatini, as seen through the social media ‘lenses’, has couples who have engaged in business and supported each other- birthing a fruitful and lovable relationship.
This reporter brings you two couples that not only inspire themselves but other people who look up to them because they are also public figures.
MC Welz Wethu and Rapper Kangaroo
This couple is the true definition of art meets love. Welz is a vibrant MC, entertainer, and musician. Her partner, King Kangaroo is a familiar figure in the local music scene as he is known as a rapper, singer, performer, songwriter and producer. This couple is inspiring because they work and promote each other in the entertainment world. We just love their free spirit and vibrant personalities.
Pastor Bakhe and Nokwanda Dlamini
Bakhe Dlamini is a relationship consultant, marriage therapist, and author. His wife Nokwanda has a Bachelor in Social Work and an MA in Community Psychology. They are currently taking over South Africa by storm and opened a consulting office in Sandton and work together to help other couples. They were featured on Ukhozi FM and have released a handbook about dating/ marriage titled ‘The Good Man’. These two make marriage look so effortless whilst also raising their three children together. They are a true inspiration and a complement to each other.
