ESWATINI SUGAR ASSOCIATION APPOINTS BANELE NYAMANE AS ACTING CEO

MBABANE – Eswatini Sugar Association has appointed Banele Nyamane to be the interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Nyamane replaces Phil Mnisi who was recently appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini.

Nyamane’s appointment comes as a promotion from his role as a Financial Director for the Eswatini Sugar Association. He joined the company in 2014, after working for MTN Eswatini as Head of Business Risk Management. Nyamane has also previously worked for Eswatini Electricity Company, where he was managing the IT, commercial and financial Accounting, management accounting and business analyst functions.

He also worked for over 2 years as a Financial Controller at Sappi Usutu where he was responsible for the general ledger, financial controls, and producing monthly and annual reports. Nyamane is on his fifth year of serving the SOS Children Villages Eswatini as a Board Member.
