ESWATINI TV PARTNERS WITH MTN BUSHFIRE 2024

MBABANE – If you cannot make it to the MTN Bushfire Festival, stress not, as it will be screened on Eswatini TV at different intervals.

This vibrant broadcast partnership was confirmed by Eswatini TV’s Senior Marketing Communication and Brand Officer (SMCBO) Nomcebo Malinga today (Thursday, May 30, 2024). The broadcasting activities will begin tomorrow (May 31 to June 02, 2024), with live broadcasts of the festival. On ‘This Weekend Eswatini,’ there will be a live broadcast from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Friday.

The MTN Bushfire Festival kicks off tomorrow until Sunday at Malandelas in Malkerns.

Speaking about the partnership, Malinga said, “Eswatini Television Authority is thrilled to announce its broadcasting partnership with MTN Bushfire 2024, one of Africa’s most iconic music and arts festivals. This collaboration promises an electrifying weekend of live broadcasts, cultural exchange, and unforgettable entertainment.”

She went on to add, “Still on Friday, ESTVA will seamlessly transition from its regular programming to MTN Bushfire at 8pm to 10pm. Over this exciting weekend, viewers will be able to immerse themselves in the festival’s magic, with ESTVA continuing to air live broadcasts of the festival throughout the weekend, from 3pm to 5pm and 8pm to 10pm on Saturday. On Sunday, the broadcasts will be from 3pm to 6pm.

It is worth mentioning that there are three presenters who will be presenting alongside ESTVA’s presenters. The presenters include Vusi Kunene, William Lehong, and Wellington Kusonde will join the ESTVA’s team to host segments and share their unique perspectives.

According to Malinga, the exciting live broadcasts will feature interviews, performances, and behind-the-scenes glimpses. “There will be highlights of the diverse aspects of MTN Bushfire, from musical performances to culinary delights and fashion trends. Expect vibrant visuals and captivating storytelling. Festival attendants are encouraged to visit ESTVA’s studio booth at the festival grounds. Meet some of ESTVA’s beloved personalities, ask questions, and share their Bushfire experiences,” said Malinga.

The ESTVA has invited friends to come and enjoy the ambience of MTN Bushfire. These industry friends include Kulture Xchange, Zambia TV, SABC, Prime Media, KZN Tourism, and lastly but certainly not least, Gauteng Tourism.

“We are excited about the friendships we have forged with the entities mentioned above, mostly because if all goes well this weekend, we are looking to build long-lasting partnerships with them. ESTVA is looking forward to showing our guests around Eswatini while they are here and just getting them to see and feel the magic that will be in the air this weekend,” Malinga said.
