MBABANE – The Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe has expressed her enthusiasm for the E-Visa and Permit System stating that it is the cornerstone of Eswatini’s digital transformation efforts.
During the launch the Minister said the project will revolutionise the visa and permit application process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both applicants and the government.

The new system leverages cutting-edge technologies to provide an integrated and user-friendly platform for individuals and businesses seeking visas and permits.
By eliminating the need for physical paperwork and manual processes, the E-Visa and Permit System promises to significantly reduce processing times, minimise errors, and enhance transparency.
In a significant step towards digital transformation and improving the ease of doing business in Eswatini, the E-Visa and Permit System is aligned with His Majesty the King’s vision for a first world Eswatini and the government’s strategy to enhance the country’s business environment.
This digital initiative aims to streamline the issuance of visas and permits while preventing malpractice and enhancing efficiency.
Minister Lindiwe emphasised the positive impact this digital transformation would have on Eswatini’s economy.
“By embracing technology and digitising visa and permit services, we are creating an enabling environment for foreign investors, tourists, and skilled professionals,” she stated. This will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of the Kingdom of Eswatini,” she said.
The collaborative efforts between MoHA, ICT, RSTP, and the private sector were instrumental in the successful implementation of the E-Visa and Permit System.
