The PM said the EU and Eswatini enjoyed a long-standing and cordial partnership dating back to more than 50 years ago. The partnership between the two parties, according to the Premier, focused on poverty reduction and the promotion of sustainable and inclusive growth and development.

He said Eswatini looked forward to the EU assistance, which would be transformational to the lives and livelihood of the youth in the country. The EU, according to Dlamini, further pledged to support initiatives to promote a reading culture in Eswatini.

“They also appreciated the steps we have taken to provide the nation with information through social media and other platforms. We are grateful for this feedback from our diplomatic partners and we will continue to use these platforms to promote transparency in Government,” he said.
