MBABANE– Meet Sivile Mswane, an upcoming female photographer who dreams of capturing beautiful moments and turning them into timeless images.
In her early adulthood, she adopted it as a hobby and eventually took a short course intending to turn it into a small business. Her passion for photography has since grown, and now she hopes to pursue a career as a professional photographer.
She recently did a shoot with aspiring paint artist; Honest Mhlanga, on Monday 12 June 2023. She is also about to exhibit at Yebo Art Gallery in a group show mid-July.

Sivile’s personality is as vibrant as the images she captures. She is a lover of life, a minimalist with a quiet and friendly disposition. She is a person who enjoys spending time at coffee shops, bookshops and art galleries, reflecting on the world around her, and finding inspiration in everyday life. She has a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to see beauty in things that others may overlook. Mswane loves to experiment with different styles and techniques, always pushing herself to improve her craft.
“I knew I was fascinated by photography as a kid when my mother would call the local photographer to take pictures of us. Going through family albums was always delightful,” she said. “The ability of a picture to take you back in time and make you feel a certain way is an understated joy, this habit of being absorbed in a photograph progressed over time to a level where I wondered about the creative about the creative process of photography,” she added.
One of Mswane’s defining traits is her determination. She is a person who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to work hard to achieve it. Despite facing obstacles and setbacks, she perseveres and remains committed to her goals. She is driven by her love for photography and a strong desire to share her vision with the world.
Sivile is also a creative and imaginative person. She often daydreams and thinks outside the box, coming up with unique perspectives and ideas for her work. She is always seeking to capture something special, whether it’s a candid moment or a dramatic landscape. Sivile believes that photography is a powerful tool for self-expression, and she hopes to use her work to inspire and connect with others.
