MBABANE-First Finance has dished out the second payment of E24 000 cash back to a second batch of six clients.
These were the week three and four winners of the company’s Back-To-School promotion, whose aim is to ease the burden of school fees and to support the company’s clients to meet their needs and achieve their aspirations.
The campaign also underscores First Finance’s principle of responsible lending and is also in line with their new Strategic Plan 2022-2027, which amongst other things prioritises improving customer experience.
The recent presentation brings the total of money that First Finance has given back to clients to E48 000 thus far. In total, the company has planned to give out E72 000 cash back to customers over six weeks from all its three branches; Mbabane, Manzini, and Nhlangano.
The six winners for the third and fourth week were;
- Vilakati Cynthia Zodwa
- Shawe Charles Mfanseni
- Mkhonza Kaizer Mthetho
- Dlamini Sabelo Nakekelo
- Bhembe Celumusa Comfort
- Mbuli Mangaliso Thembinkosi
Each of them took home cashback worth E4,000.
Speaking on behalf of the winners, Vilakati Cynthia Zodwa, who is a retiree, said she took this unexpected cash injection as God’s plan to take care of her pressing needs against her tight retirement monthly income.
“I applied for a loan from First Finance to pay a deposit for my child in one of the tertiary institutions. But, this meant that I had to temporarily give up a portion of my monthly retirement salary. Therefore, when I got the news that I have won cash back worth E4 000, even though at first, I thought it was a scam, after getting confirmation, I swiftly thanked God for looking out for me. Thank you very First Finance for what you have done for us.”
Another winner, Mangaliso Mbuli, who disclosed that he comes a long way with First Finance, thanked the company for coming up with this initiative to give back to its customers.
“We thank First Finance for coming up with these initiatives. We have been able to do a lot of things through the assistance of First Finance, and it is very encouraging to see the company giving back to its customers,” he said.
First Finance General Manager Thulani Dlamini said in the third week, the three winners were picked from a total of over 270 qualifying entries from the three branches and over 168 qualifying entries in the fourth week. “We have two weeks to go and we will be giving cash back worth E72 000 to 18 clients in total. We will also continue working hard to simplify our customer journey so that our clients can benefit mostly from simplification, efficiency, and convenience. We will continue to review and revolve to keep our customer journey as simple as possible,” he said.
