MBABANE- The days of travelling to other countries for waterparks are near over as Sibebe Resort has established the first waterpark in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Sibebe Resort has proven to be determined to keep children entertained this festive season by setting up the above-mentioned feature, which will have water slides, splash pads, water play grounds, water swings and more.

Sibebe Resort Communications Officer Themba Thwala said they were still yet to unveil it to the public sometime this month.

“We will let everyone know when we will launch the waterpark. Our goal is to always make memorable experiences for our customers as well as catering to their needs,” said Thwala.

Thwala further mentioned that there was a huge need for a waterpark as most of emaSwati travelled all the way to South Africa for that experience and now they can have it in their own country.

“A lot of people are really excited about this and we cannot wait to see the park filled with families,” said Thwala.

This is what parents had to say about the waterparks:

Wonder Tsabedze – Well done to Sibebe. This is really beautiful and I cannot wait to take my children there.

Bongekile Nkambule – We finally have a Durban of our own now. This is really exciting.

Banele Msibi – I hope adults are allowed too because the pictures are really appealing even to me as an adult.

Nomphumelelo Lukhele – It looks really lovely and so far Sibebe has not disappointed and so I am excited to take my whole family there.

Refiloe Motsa – I have already set my eyes on going there and cancelled other plans I had in mind.

Sibebe Resort is located 10 km from the capital city Mbabane. Drive using Pine Valley road until Mbuluzi High School. Follow sign next to sibebe rock, Mbabane H100 Eswatini.
