MBABANE– The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe, has come out to say the development of football at the grassroots level was one of the significant components as far as the industry is concerned.

He said this during the morning live breakfast show, on Eswatini Broadcasting Service (EBIS) earlier today.

“For Football or Sports to develop, a lot of resources are needed, of which playing equipment is one of them,” he said.

He further took an opportunity to acknowledge FC for its investment in Sports through the Scara Thindwa Foundation.

He said, this is not only an investment in football, but an investment in the socio-economy of the country as sports teach character.

“It teaches you to play by the rules. It teaches you to know what it feels like to win and lose. It teaches you about life and that is why I can boldly say, football is a school for life,” he said.

Radebe went on to applaud the participants of the said programme and urged the youth to take it seriously. He urged the youth to take football seriously. He further highlighted that if they do, they might end up earning a living through sports just like the patron of the Thindwa Foundation.
