MBABANE– Bawinile Ntshaba better known as Winnie Ntshaba is an award-winning actress best known for her role in Generations as ‘Khethiwe Buthelezi’ enjoyed her time in the country over the weekend.
The now House of Zwide actress was in the country the whole weekend where she expressed her happiness and joy over being on Eswatini land. She was in the country for the annual Buganu Festival that took place at Buhleni Royal Residence over the weekend.
The gifted thespian has been in the acting industry since the early 2000s, she is well-known and celebrated for her work.
Having arrived last Friday in the country, the actress shared on her Instagram videos and stories that she was excited to be in a peaceful country like Eswatini and watch them preserve culture.
“I’m happy to be here, it is so lovely to be here. This country is very calm and I’m amazed they take their culture so seriously,” she said in one of her Instagram stories on her videos.
Winnie joined Lutsango on the day of ‘tetfulo’ to deliver her goodie bag to Their Majesties and on Saturday she joined Lutsango with the Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) to Buhleni Royal Residence arena for a dance.
People and social media were abuzz with the actress’s presence she was also kind enough to pose for pictures with her fans and stop for conversations with almost everyone at the arena.
Winnie Ntshaba is a South African actress best known for her role in Generations on SABC 1. She began her career in the 2000s before making her breakthrough in ‘Yesterday’. She is best known for playing Khethiwe Buthelezi on the SABC 1 soap opera Generations. She studied acting at the University of Natal.
