MBABANE– Former South African Idols runner-up Loyiso Gijana has been confirmed to be the headliner for the Lunwali Music Festival.
The festival will be held on December3, 2022 at Manzini Club.
This was confirmed by Lethu Matse to this reporter. Matse, the Public Relations Officer for Black Tree Entertainment that will be hosting the festival, said that they were very excited about bringing Loyiso for the inaugural lap of the festival.
“This is the first-of-its kind festival and it is a mixture of African culture, dance fashion and has a soul feel to it,” said Matse.
Matse revealed that the festival is named after a preserving oil that has been used by Africans for generations to preserve items from cracking or damage.
The PRO revealed they had a line-up for local acts but that information would be unpacked later today on their social media platforms.
“The festival starts at 12 noon to 6pm to accommodate children and their parents but the party doesn’t end there for fun lovers,” said Matse.
The PRO also said prices to stalls were only given upon enquiry at their email addresses at blacktreeentertainment@gmail.com.
