MBABANE– The countdown has begun!
Excitement is hovering over the country as the date of the first take-off of Eswatini Air nears. Eswatini Air is set to take its first flight this coming Sunday, March 26.
The first flight to see Eswatini Air with passengers will be at 7 am departing from King Mswati III International Airport and will be landing at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa at 7.45 am.
Flights to Harare in Zimbabwe will be effective as of April 14, followed by flights to Durban at May 5, 2023. Flights to Cape Town will commence on June 2, 2023.
EmaSwati have shown anticipation towards the flights, revealing, over a week ago, to this publication, that they would now afford to fly with Eswatini Air.
These are emaSwati, who expressed their excitement, welcoming the newly-revealed Eswatini Air ticket fares, saying they were very affordable and they would now be flying out of the country regularly.
Some locals took this to their social media, after Eswatini Air, in a press conference, told emaSwati that they would now make their bookings before the end of March. Eswatini Air will make trips to Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Harare in Zimbabwe.
Flight fare to Johannesburg and Durban is E1 300, to Cape Town ticket costs E2 100, and flight fare to Harare is E2 200.

Eswatini Air is an Eswatini-based airline and the flag carrier for the nation and will offer services from Manzini (SHO) to Harare, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
