“Many illnesses are prevented or managed through initiatives like this one, where our people can get their blood pressure checked for free. There is a reason that high blood pressure is called the silent killer, it is because many people are not aware that they may have hypertension, and as a result, it goes untreated.

“Hypertension is a big problem all over the world, and we have a high prevalence in Eswatini,” said the Director.

In addition to that, she said they are, as a hospital, passionate about the well-being of people, events like this help them give back to the community, and assist people to take charge of their health.

“We look forward to many more initiatives where we partner with all our people, in helping them to achieve sound health. After all, health is the new wealth, and we are excited to be a part of it,” she said.
