SHISELWENI– Over 580 people enjoyed free medical treatment in Shiselweni courtesy of the Taiwan Medical Mission, in collaboration with the Taiwan-Eswatini Embassy.
This publication gathered that 586 people got assisted on their ailments by professional healthcare workers throgh wide range of medical services.
It is said the rural medical outreach conducted by the Taiwan-Eswatini partnership not only delivered much-needed healthcare services to the community, but also featured engaging health education workshops that were designed to improve the health literacy of the participants and improve their quality of life.
Information reaching this publication is that the workshops were well-received by the community, and participants expressed their appreciation for the valuable information and skills they learned.
It is said a group of volunteers travelled to the Shiselweni region of Eswatini, where they provided medical services to 586 residents in need.
The volunteers worked alongside with four high school students from JA Eswatini and were led by Manqoba Simelane.
Organizers of the medical outreach expressed great satisfaction and inspiration at the positive response they received from the community, particularly the smiles of the people who received care. They pledged to continue working together with the volunteers to improve community health and well-being, so that everyone can enjoy a better quality of life.
