MBABANE – The Municipal Council of Mbabane in collaboration with Eswatini TV will be hosting a massive day of activities and Emaswati are invited to attend for free.
This will be on November 20, 2022 at the Prince of Wales in Mbabane.
When reached for comment on the celebrations, the Municipality Information and Public Relations Officer (IPRO), Lucky Tsabedze, said that they wanted a safe environment and for football lovers to watch the World Cup and join the world in celebrating the FIFA World Cup.
“We will have a big screen for people to watch from. The only thing one can bring is a camp chair to relax while watching the football proceedings.
“In the morning, emaSwati who have registered for the Mbabane Half Day Marathon will be partaking in the marathon and later on during the day there will be a kiddie’s corner where children will be playing sports,” said the Tsabedze.
He further disclosed that there would also be volley ball games and netball at the Coronation Park.
“EmaSwati who want to have food stalls, goods or crafts are welcome to join the proceedings.
“We will also have live musical performances in between games from Zulu D, Sgitha and SupaCDQ,” said Tsabedze.
