MBABANE – The Mbabane Golf Club has partnered with Futis Chicken Cottage to host their monthly tournaments in 2022.
The Mbabane Golf Club team captain expressed her appreciation for the sponsorship and explained that “we’re very grateful for the sponsorship, we’re sorted for the rest of the year to host a tournament on the fourth week of each month”. She added “the committee has a responsibility to continue innovating and introducing new things, so that the competition stays exciting.
Echoing the Mbabane Golf Club team captain’s words, Futis Manager Rosetta Munrow said “We are thankful to be working with the Mbabane Golf Club. As we’re here to play golf, we trust that we’ll continue to work well together, especially as we continue with subsequent tournaments”.
The monthly games are now called the ‘Futis Monthly Competition’, and the first tournament was hosted this past weekend at The Mbabane Golf Club. Coincidentally, the first winner of the Futis themed competitions was Futhi Dlamini. Dlamini, one of the three females who were in the top five in the tournament said this about her win, “we’re very happy as ladies, and I’d very much encourage other ladies to come to play. It feels great to win a woman in this sport.”
