MBABANE– The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) has announced that applications to book exhibition space at the Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) are now open.

This was revealed by the communication department on all their social media platforms. Where it was also mentioned that the application deadline was May 31, 2023.

Worth noting is that the EITF will be held on September 1-10, 2023. Interested exhibitors stand a chance to unlock trade opportunities for growth.

In the statement poster, it is mentioned that there are, endless opportunities and possibilities for exhibitors.

“Over 40 000 visitors, and potential clients, there are over 300 exhibitors and 150 contractors creating about 3000 jobs,” reads the statement poster in part.

According to the EIPA website, in order to be considered an Exhibitor, an application form must be completed signed by a legally competent individual, delivered to the EITF before the deadline, and any invoiced amount fully paid before the start of the exhibition.

“Mailing or delivering the Application Form to the EITF does not constitute a formal agreement nor a confirmation that the Exhibitor has been accepted.

“Contractual Conditions are constituted only after the EITF has sent written confirmation of acceptance to the Exhibitor in case of acceptance, Exhibitors will be expected to make payments within 30 days,” further reads the information on the website.

It is said that no Exhibitor will be allowed access to the Trade Fair without fuss payment Payments made to secure exhibition space are not refundable The EITF reserves the right to refuse any application without giving cause. All oral agreements, special permissions and special arrangements are valid only upon receipt of written confirmation.

“Exhibition booths may only be used for exhibiting and advertising the Exhibitor’s products, materials or services as described in the application form advertising materials may be distributed only within the confines of the booth Partial or complete subleasing,” further reads the website guideline.

Worth noting is that The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) was created through an Act of Parliament, the Eswatini Investment Promotion Act of 1998, and was formally launched in April of the same year.  EIPA is a ‘Category A’ Public Enterprise and is wholly funded by the Government of Eswatini.
