…. OVER E2 MILLION OF WORTH IN GIFTS

Yesterday emaSwati really showed up and showed off for His Majesty King Mswati III.
This was evident when they contributed over E2 million worth for the upcoming King’s birthday celebrations combined with the 55/55 double celebration.
The collaboration of companies and individual business people saw the King receive gifts like cheques, cows, furniture , cooking utensils, fruits and vegetables, cattle, portraits and clothes.
His Majesty King Mswati III yesterday also received 39 cows, bags of sugar, and contributions to the currently ongoing Umhlanga.
The gifts were collectively presented by the Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe Dlamini at Mandvulo Grand Hall.
Those who contributed to the gifts include Princes and Princesses, Cabinet Ministers, companies and other companies.
Some of the gifts that nearly stood out include Maqhawe Khumalo from Pigg’s Peak under Chief Mathutha who gifted the King with a lighting object written ‘Khula Mlisa 55/55’.
Other individuals presented wood crafted accessories, fruits, blankets and more. His Majesty also viewed the cows that were being presented.
Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force Principal Secretary Prince Sicalo presented two swords to His Majesty King Mswati III for the 55/55 national celebrations.
Meanwhile, His Majesty King Mswati III sent appreciation to all those who presented him with the gift as well as those who made contributions to Umhlanga
