MBABANE- An agreement has been reached!
After what seemed to be a never-ending battle of the cost-of-living adjustment on the negotiation table, a general consensus has been met.
The Government Negotiation Team (GNT) and Public Service Unions (PSUs) have eventually signed off on a three per cent cost-of-living adjustment (CoLA) of monthly basic salary and one per cent once-off payment of annual basic salary across the board to be back dated to April 1, 2022.
According to the SNAT (Eswatini National Association of Teachers) Platform, the agreement happened today where members of both GNT and PSUs signed off on the above figures.
