MBABANE – Prayers of people who break the law are not acceptable before God.
These are words written in the Bible book of Proverbs 28:9. This Bible verse was read to the people of Msunduza Chiefdom, under Mbabane East Constituency by Bafana Hlophe, a police officer based in Mbabane Police Station.

Hlophe, who was born at Maseyisini in the Shiselweni Region, said the words were from the Bible and the on and were not written by him or any other person, but this was a message from God, who wanted his people to hear.
The police officer stated that they had been tasked to reduce the rate of crime by three percent this year. “That can only be done with collaboration from the nation, such as you, people of Msunduza,” Hlophe said.

Hlophe, who is now a resides at Mpolonjeni, Mbabane, said corruption needed to be dealt away with. He said at times, it was the nation that started the whole process of corruption by offering a cow to employers when they wanted jobs, for example.
He praised the people of Msunduza for the work they did to ensure that the place was safe. Hlophe said one could hardly walk around Msunduza without being mugged, but now, the people were safe.
