LOBAMBA – Her Majesty the Indlovukazi has identified God the Almighty as the true source of peace.
The Queen Mother said this today during the National Good Friday Service at the premises of the Lobamba National Church. Her Majesty urged Emaswati to stick to God so that the country could continue to prosper.
She said Emaswati should forever be thankful to God for the peace and stability that they continued to enjoy. She pointed out that in other countries, such was not the case because people were running helter skelter, trying to dodge bullets from people who were at war.
The Indlovukazi said Emaswati should use such Easter services to reflect on their relationship with God and be grateful to him for releasing Jesus, who left his important position in Heaven to die for people to be saved. The Queen Mother further said Emaswati should be happy that God and his son Jesus were able to forgive even when it was difficult, as Prime Minister Russell Dlamini had highlighted in his before prior the Indlovukazi’s speech.
The Queen Mother said it was difficult for people to forgive one another, but that was not the case with Jesus. She said that was a privilege that Emaswati had to take advantage of to be saved. Her Majesty also reminded Emaswati that the Word of God came to Eswatini through King Somhlolo, who then advised Emaswati to choose the Bible that would come with missionaries, instead of money. She said this was another privilege for Emaswati to take advantage of.
