MBABANE – A versatile duo that can take up any role, anywhere!

This is comedian duo Gogo NaSlwane, who have been revealed as MCs for the Holy Ghost Party Festival crossover show which is slated for December 31 at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Arena in Manzini.

The developments with regards to the show were revealed today in a poster that has already started trending on social media.

The duo is known for their versatility as they can be programme directors in different events, even corporate ones, and they relate to people from all walks of life in Eswatini.

Confirming the developments was one of the event organiser, Andile Hlophe, who said their choice was influenced by the fact that many people relate to the duo.

“People from all walks of life love the duo and they also make an effort to relate to everyone, despite background. EmaSwati love them and find them humorous, this then, making them an uncontested choice,” said Hlophe.

In the meantime, last week,now internationally recognised and Eswatini-born gospel music artist, Linda Dlamini, has revealed that more local acts would be added as surprise acts on the line-up.

Dlamini was speaking as one of the founders of the festival, which is a gospel music crossover show.

Already in the line-up are gospel music legends including Dr Rebecca Malope, Thina Zungu, Sipho Makhabane, Shongwe NeKhuphuka, Nduduzo Matse, Phathwakahle, Gcina Masuku and other well-established artists.

Speaking to this reporter, Dlamini sad more surprise acts will be revealed as the days of the event neared.

“We will feature more local acts in the line-up. We are obviously keeping it under wraps for now as we tie up a few loose ends,” said the ‘Konkhe Kuyangilungela’ hit maker.

The crossover show (6pm to 6am) is slated for December 31 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Arena in Manzini. Tickets to the show cost E100 and they are available at MTN outlets, MoMo Market Place and InstaCash.
