MBABANE – Eswatini TV Gospel Impact Presenter Mbali Simelane was interviewed on South African TV Station Soweto TV on Monday.
The show, titled My Side of the Story, airs on DSTV Channel 251 at 9pm. Simelane told this publication that she was sharing about her life journey from the loss of her dad to, four days later, getting a job on Eswatini TV.
She said: “I spoke about how I dealt with losing my dad in 2021 and also getting a job at Eswatini TV just days after his passing. I didn’t know how I was going to deal with everything; I got to a point where I asked myself if I was going to heal by drinking or if I was going to allow God to heal me.”
She went on to say: “When Eswatini TV gave me the opportunity to present the Gospel Impact show, I automatically knew that I was going to go for healing.”
Simelane also revealed that the loss of her dad provoked emotions and trauma from the loss of her two children that happened many years ago, which is when she realised that she had not healed but that she knew at some point she would find healing. Also, the chance of presenting a gospel show played a part in her healing journey.
The show focuses on telling individual life stories about how they deal with loss and difficult circumstances.
