MBABANE – The gospel music scene is buzzing with excitement for Linda Dlamini’s third album set to debut at The Luke Commission Auditorium, featuring the renowned Manzini Choir.
Originally, the event was scheduled for May 4, 2024, but it was pushed to August 10, 2024. The red carpet experience live CD and DVD recording is expected to kick off at 6pm till late, allowing fans to immerse themselves in Dlamini’s soulful and uplifting gospel sounds.
The launch will mark a special reunion for Dlamini who began his gospel career singing with the Manzini choir as it will be joining him onstage for a selection of his new songs.
“The reason the date was changed is because we did not have enough time to prepare and our production requirements needs enough time,” Dlamini said.
He also added that the launch will feature performance by hosting other renowned gospel artists, including Thabile Myeni, Takie Ndou, Nomthie Sibisi, Sneeziey Msomi, Ayanda Shange, Nothando Dlamini, Siphiwo Ndoni, Ntokozo Ngongoma while others will be revealed during the show as he want to keep them as a surprise.
The line up promises to be a diverse showcase of talent, ensuring that gospel fans of all tastes will have something to enjoy.
With a talented gospel artist and a stirring reunion with the Manzini choir on the cards, the live recording promises to be a once in a lifetime experience for gospel fans.
