GOVT/EU SEEKING ENERGY TRANSITION IDEAS

MBABANE – The Ministry of Economic Planning and Development, in partnership with the European Union (EU) in Eswatini is calling upon you to submit proposals for a project to catalyse energy transition in the country.

The two organisations are seeking innovative proposals for projects that promote sustainable and inclusive development through renewable energy and energy efficiency investments.

The proposals should specifically focus on supporting small farmers, women, youth, and vulnerable groups, with the aim of empowering these groups to be active participants in the country’s economic development.

The call for proposals is part of the EU-funded Support to Agriculture Value Chains via Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Investment in Eswatini program.

This program aims to support economic development through the promotion of sustainable and inclusive energy investments, particularly in agriculture value chains.

The program will help to boost economic opportunities for small farmers, women, youth, and vulnerable groups in Eswatini.
