The Trade map will show Trade statistics on an online database for international business development, to support export market access and drive sustainable growth. It will also cover the annual trade flows of over 220 countries and over 5 300 products. The Trade Map is an online database of international trade statistics, providing an array of useful indicators.

European Union in Eswatini has supported this initiative under the project ‘Support to the Implementation of the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) 2022-2026)’.

The project specifically supports trade and export development with the end goal of taking advantage of the EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) opportunities and providing support of trade and investment promotion bodies or Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and private sector associations to take advantage of opportunities offered by the SADC-EU-EPA.

When sought for comment EU Program Officer Lewis Bascoal said that support was free. “Support is free and information is available for all to use on the site,” said Bascoal.
