NGWEMPISI – Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, has announced that there will be a free training session on pig hygiene slaughter which will help intensify the standards within the meat industry.
This instructive event will be held on May 30, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm at Ngwempisi. The Ministry promises to equip the interested participants with relevant knowledge and the skills needed in order to successfully master pig slaughter hygiene.
Entrance to the session is completely free, but the seats inside will be limited and interested individuals are expected to register prior to the event in order to secure themselves seats. The ministry encourages individuals to register and reserve their seats as soon as possible to avoid missing out on such an informative event.
The training session is formulated for people involved in the meat industry, including butchers and farmers. There will be discussions about hygiene and safety in the slaughter process. The participants will be taught about the methods they need to do when slaughtering pigs to ensure that the quality of the meat is exceptional and also promote the health and safety of consumers.
