GRADE 7 SUCCESSFULLY SITS FOR THEIR MORNING FRENCH PAPER

MANZINI – A number of primary school pupils in Manzini successfully sat for their Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) morning paper in French.

This was after their examinations were halted, however, earlier this morning a number of pupils gathered around their respective halls and prepared for the French paper one and two.

The examination began at 8.30 am until 9.30 am; the second paper then followed at 10.30 am and is currently on-going.  Teachers found on the ground expressed that they were happy to have seen full attendance by pupils and that the exams went ahead.

“In my school, we have all the candidates expected to sit for the French paper, and we are thankful parents sent them to school today. The first paper went smoothly and now we wait for the second paper to be completed by the pupils,” said the teacher.

Schools that saw schools write and proceed well with their examination included Manzini Central, St Theresa’s Primary, Salesian Primary and Sydney Williams among others.

Meanwhile when reached for a comment Ministry of Education and Training Principal Secretary (PS) Bhekithemba Gama said it was expected that things proceed well.

He said this was to be expected with all remaining papers, he further encouraged pupils to fight till the last mile and make sure they pass their exams.

“We have received a few reports about the morning paper going well and we expect such reports going forward,” he said.
