MBABANE – “The crowd was warm, the people who helped me put together the show made me feel comfortable. My first time in LA was really awesome,”

These were award-winning singer and songwriter Ndumiso Manana’s sentiments during an interview with this publication.

He was speaking on his first-ever Los Angeles show, which took place on Tuesday at the Winston.

He was in the company of Rowlene and others. The Swati-born star mentioned that he was really happy with the show and was looking forward to more.

“I played my first show in LA, and man, it was special and I got to share the stage with talented stars. It was a magical experience with a magical audience, so thanks to everyone who made the mission far and wide come out all the love,” he said.

In addition Manana revealed that he is now officially available on TikTok where people can tune for exclusive content especially the artwork and sleeve work for his album.

“I’m also available on TikTok now, I promise nothing but lit content. I’m excited for this because I will be bringing the goodies,” he said.

Teasing his upcoming album, a single titled ‘Better than this, which features SA musicians Nasty C and Tellaman is available for streaming on Apple Music as of yesterday.

Worth noting is that Manana is a multi-talented singer, composer, producer, and poignant lyricist, and he proved this last year during his second time performing in the country, this was during his ‘RNB and Sweats’ show, the show packed over 300 people at the Mbabane Theatre Club.

He would later say this about his show in the country “I would never be big for Eswatini, it is home my home and I’m forever grateful for my followers,”

He has writing credentials on some beloved South African and African tracks. Having written for and worked with Ami Faku on Ebhayi and Amanda Black in Africa.

On his latest album titled ‘But could moments in between’, he bares his soul in song, while detailing the conflict of being surrounded by tangible miracles while carrying heartbreak within.
