MBABANE- “Some companies need me.”
These words were shared by Bonginkhosi ‘Dr. Shakes’ Dlamini after appealing for assistance from the public in securing a job.
Dlamini is well known in the entertainment industry as a comedian, brand ambassador, and influencer but the artist aims to go corporate as well this year.
During an interview with this reporter, Dlamini revealed 2022 was a good year for him and that he has bigger prospects intended for this year.
“I was studying Business Management and Leadership since 2020 at IRDM University College. As challenging as that was, I managed to balance my studies and my career.
“2022 was actually a really good year for me. I got opportunities to engage more with the corporate world through my shows.
“I think there are companies that need me. It is always a bonus if you have a qualification and also have art. I still want to explore new things and have a feel of what the corporate world has to offer and also put my qualification to the test,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini said every year for him meant acquiring a new skill and new challenges.
“I am a person who loves challenges and right now I am looking for a new challenge. My aim every year is to have a new skill and this year is no different.
“I will be growing the Dr. Shakes brand to another level and collaborating with other artists as well as working in the corporate,” said Dlamini.
